De Vet Du have released an epic two-part commentary on the domination of social media in our lives. And I’m glad I don’t speak Swedish, because I can ascribe all sorts of scsthing social commentary to this which is probably not in the actual song (because let’s be real – De Vet Du are most famous among Eurovision for doing a song about going on a Road Trip.)
After a contemplative intro, the Swedish duo go into a bouncy pop song about how they want to have the perfect social media profile, complete with incredibly awful fake tans and horrific photoshopped Instagram posts. See what I mean?:
