The etheral Ieva Zasimauskaite has released another dreamy and soothing ballad that sounds very sad. It’s the type of song that’s perfect for putting on repeat after a fresh breakup – the uncontrollable sobbing in your shower phase, not the eating pints of ice cream out of the carton phase.
And it’s a beautiful song performed very well but this type of music is not my main jam. I much prefer Ieva Zasimauskaite in her guise as a Vidas Barekis collaborator:
But even with that, I can appreciate the soothing nature of Ieva’s lovelorn voice. And it doesn’t hurt that her team has helped her with beautifully shot representations of abandonment and hurt, like this:
