It’s probably not a surprise that I’m not much of a fan of Michael Szpak. His ballads aren’t my preferred style of music, I don’t dig his Sergeant Pepper cosplay and, most unforgivably, he robbed Eurovision of potentially one of its greatest entries ever – Margaret’s Cool Me Down.
And now? Well, after seeing the video for Rainbow, I’ve got another grudge to hold against Michael Szpak:
How dare you steal my louche pajama look, Michael? I’ve been wearing pajamas in public for years, and now I watch your video to see you trying to make this a thing? It already is a thing, okay? And if I were less angry, I’d probably politely ask you where you got yours because I really like them. Hmmmph.
