Okay, so you know how I just spent a bunch of words gushing over Ireland’s kiss-off anthem? Well, North Macedonia has brought us another break-up anthem, but one that’s at the snotty, made-the-right-decision-but-it-still-hurts stage.
And the problem with that is that the stage is no fun. It’s resigned, and sad, and no matter how much Andrea tries to dress it up with large vocals and a hip-hop influenced look, the song can’t escape these completely miserable roots. Or, to put it in the terms of the song, it never manages to feel like it’s going somewhere other than running in circles.
Is it worth watching? Maybe. But it’s a song that is just kind of there, unfortunately.
